Economic Reports of the President:Truman (1947) to Obama
The Economic Report of the President is produced by the Council of Economic Advisers, an agency within the Executive Office of the President. The Report is transmitted to Congress each year within ten days of the submission of the Budget of the United States. Submission of the Economic Report of the President is mandated by the Employment Act of 1946. The first Economic Report of the President was submitted by President Harry S. Truman in 1947.
