Ecumenical Patriarch Batholomew arrived at the north door at 1:56 pm and entered without comment. Monica Crowley greeted him.

Trump's announcement is for a Memphis task force replica of DC crime fighting. National Guard, FBI, DEA and other federal agencies.

"We're going to be doing Chicago, probably next," Trump said.

Flanked by Blanche, Noem, Bondi, Hegseth.

"This team will deploy the full power of federal law enforcement," Trump said.

Gov Bill Lee: "I'm tired of crime holding the great city of Memphis back." Highway patrol will help local authorities.

GOP Sens Marsha Blackburn and Bill Hagerty also attended.

"we're not goin to let this savagery destroy our county any more," Trump said after reciting Memphis crime stats.

On Chicago, "we're going to go big."
"We've got to go and save our great cities," he said.

FBI Patel, Stephen Miller, ATF Daniel Driscoll, DEA Terry Cole also attending.

Trump recited anecdotes about crime victims in Memphis.

Patel said prosecutors to set the table for a long-term solution to crime.

Hegseth corrected himself to say the War Department. He said DOW is not going to have any problem having the Tennessee National Guard participating from the Volunteer State.

Blanche said Trump campaigned on making the country safe. "We plan on delivering Memphis back to its citizens," Blanche said.

Trump invited Miller to speak.

"Show the same emotion you show on television," Trump said to laughter.

Miller said federal authorities would wipe out criminals, whether antifa, drug dealers, tren de Aragua.

Asked whether he would declare antifa a terrorist organization, Trump said he would consider it.

"It's something I would do," Trump said. " I would do that 100 percent."

He also suggested RICO cases against violent protesters.

Asked if Kirk's assassin acted alone, Trump said he didn't know but that others on the internet radicalized him.

"it looks like he was radicalized over the internet," Trump said.

Asked how he would send National Guard to Chicago without support from governor or mayor, Trump said local police would support them.

"If they don't it's not going to hurt us at all," Trump said. "We hope we have the governor's support or we'll go without it."

"We're taking a plane load," Trump said.

"I guess I'll say a few words," he said.

"He was an amazing guy," he said.

Asked about Rep Omar's comments on Kirk, Trump criticized her.

"I think she's a disgraceful person," Trump said. "I think she's a disgusting person."

Asked about taking down trans flags along 14th Street, trump said he would support that but they would claim First Amendment rights.

"I would have no problem with it," Trump said.

He noted that he wants to jail people who burn US flags.

In-town pool 13 Miller on targeting nonprofits

Asked about targeting nonprofits, as VP Vance mentioned earlier, Trump asked Miller to around.

Miller said nonprofits organize protests against ICE and other authorities so they should be punished. He didn't name the groups.

"There's this whole network of organizations," Miller said. "They will be liable for paying for it."
