White House Statement Concerning Investigation of the Assassination of President Kennedy.

November 25, 1963

THE PRESIDENT said today that he has directed the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation to conduct a prompt and thorough investigation of all the circumstances surrounding the brutal assassination of President Kennedy and the murder of his alleged assassin.

The President said he has directed all Federal agencies to cooperate and the people of the Nation may be sure that all of the facts will be made public.
