JAIPUR, INDIA - Earlier today, Vice President JD Vance departed India, ending a four-day visit that included stops in New Delhi, Jaipur and Agra.
In New Delhi, Vice President Vance held bilateral meetings with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi of India. Following those meetings, the United States and India formally announced the finalization of Terms of Reference for U.S.-India Bilateral Trade Agreement negotiations. Prime Minister Modi graciously hosted Vice President Vance, Second Lady Usha Vance, and their children for dinner at his residence.
At the Rajasthan International Centre in Jaipur, India, Vice President Vance delivered remarks emphasizing the importance of the U.S.-India relationship.
Vice President Vance and his family also visited significant cultural sites, including the Taj Mahal, Amber Fort, and Akshardham Temple.
