White House Press Release: Congressional Bill H.R. 2808 and H.R. 2170 Signed into Law

On Friday, September 5, 2025, the President signed into law:

H.R. 2808, the "Homebuyers Privacy Protection Act", which prohibits a credit reporting agency from providing a consumer's credit report to another in connection with a residential mortgage transaction, except for certain circumstances; and

H.R. 2170, which designates the Department of Veterans affairs community-based outpatient clinic in Toms River, New Jersey, as the Leonard G. 'Bud' Lomell, VA Clinic.
