This week, Americans saw once again that the Biden-Harris Administration is committed to creating good paying jobs, strengthening the American economy, and fighting to lower costs.

On Monday, the U.S. Department of Agriculture launched the Working Lands Climate Corps as the next step of President Biden's historic American Climate Corps initiative. The effort will provide training and job opportunities in climate-smart agriculture for young people across the country.

MCINTEE: "We're excited about […] this opportunity to train and engage the future leaders of our agricultural and rural communities."

On Tuesday, January's consumer price index showed President Biden's economic plan is lowering costs and growing the economy from the middle out and bottom up.

Heather Boushey, Council of Economic Advisers

BOUSHEY: "The president remains focused on, these, you know, these kitchen table issues and making sure that, you know, people have that little bit of breathing room."

On Wednesday, the Federal Aviation Administration awarded almost $1 billion from President Biden's Bipartisan Infrastructure Act to invest in over 100 airports across the country.

Secretary Pete Buttigieg, Department of Transportation

BUTTIGIEG: I want to note that this is one of 114 airports that we are improving with today's announcement alone. A billion dollars going out around out countries to airports from the largest hubs to small rural centers.

On Thursday, the Department of Treasury announced a new workforce development center in Georgia funded by President Biden's Inflation Reduction Act, as part of the Administration's dedication to supporting small businesses and building a diverse, skilled pipeline of workers for good-paying manufacturing jobs.

Deputy Secretary Wally Adeyemo, Department of Treasury

ADEYEMO: It will include a co-working space and computer lab for small businesses and job seekers. There will also be free assistance for people looking for jobs, professional development workshops, literacy services and so much more, like investing in the people who live there.
