April 20, 2016

As part of his previously announced travel to Hannover, Germany, President Obama will meet with President Francois Hollande of France, Prime Minister Matteo Renzi of Italy, and Prime Minister David Cameron of the United Kingdom in a meeting hosted by German Chancellor Angela Merkel on April 25. The President looks forward to discussing with these European partners our joint counter-terrorism efforts and the need to more effectively share information between our countries and within Europe. The leaders will discuss a range of other issues, including the counter-ISIL campaign, migration, Syria, Ukraine, and Libya. They will also discuss additional steps NATO Allies must take to address challenges on Europe's eastern and southern periphery, as well as mutual efforts to advance negotiations on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership.
