On Monday, August 14, 2006, the President signed into law:
H.R. 5683, which provides for the Federal acquisition of the Mt. Soledad Veterans Memorial in San Diego, California.
On Saturday, August 12, 2006, the President signed the following bills into law:
S. 250, the "Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Improvement Act of 2006," reauthorizing Department of Education vocational and technical education programs.
H.R. 3682, which redesignates the Mason Neck National Wildlife Refuge in Virginia as the Elizabeth Hartwell Mason Neck National Wildlife Refuge.
S. 3693, which amends the Violence Against Women and Department of Justice Reauthorization Act of 2005.
