Statement by the Press Secretary: President Bush Names Delegation to the Closing Ceremony of the 2008 Summer Olympic Games

President George W. Bush today announced the designation of a Presidential Delegation to the Closing Ceremony of the Olympic Games in Beijing, China on August 24, 2008.

The Honorable Condoleezza Rice, Secretary of State, will lead the delegation.

Mr. Peter Ueberroth, President of the United States Olympic Committee
Ms. Michelle Kwan, Figure Skating Champion and American Public Diplomacy Envoy
