On Thursday, September 24, 2015, the President signed into law:
H.R. 720, the "Gerardo Hernandez Airport Security Act of 2015,"which requires the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) within the Department of Homeland Security to conduct outreach to U.S. airports and surface transportation systems that TSA is responsible for securing to verify that they have individualized plans for responding to security incidents; and
S. 1359, the "E-Warranty Act of 2015," which allows manufacturers and sellers of consumer products to satisfy applicable Federal requirements to make the terms of any warranty on a consumer product available to consumers by displaying such terms in a digital format on the Internet website of the manufacturer.
