On Wednesday, August 3, 2011, the President signed into law:
H.R. 1383, the "Restoring GI Bill Fairness Act of 2011," which temporarily preserves higher rates of payment for tuition and fees for those enrolled in the Post-9/11 Educational Assistance Program at non-public institutions of higher learning, and adjusts certain housing stipends.
