Statement of Administration Policy: H.R. 4919 - Approval of International Fishery Agreement

The Administration has no objection to House passage of H.R. 4919, but may seek amendments in the Senate including those to (1) provide for greater representation among interested parties on the North Pacific and Bering Sea Fisheries Advisory Body, (2) delete the authorization of appropriations for the Marine Biomedical Institute for Advanced Studies, a non-governmental entity, and (3) delete the authorization for specialized mapping of the Great Lakes.
