The Vice President thanked President Widodo for his focus on elevating engagement through the U.S.-Indonesia strategic partnership. The Vice President reiterated the United States' commitment to advancing peace and prosperity in the region, including by helping to sustain the rules-based international order. The two discussed opportunities to enhance bilateral cooperation and expand multilateral cooperation on strategic issues.
