Readout of Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff's Meeting with Latinos in the Entertainment and Media Industry

Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff met with members of the Latino community in the entertainment and media industry to discuss the Biden-Harris Administration's efforts to promote inclusivity and increase representation in the workforce. The Second Gentleman was joined by U.S. Small Business Administrator Isabella Guzman and Senior Advisor to the President and White House Director for Intergovernmental Affairs Julie Rodriguez. During the meeting, they discussed actions to help diversify the media industry and expand job growth. They emphasized the need to advance equity for underserved communities and ensure individuals have access to more opportunities in the field of entertainment. This event was organized as part of the White House's actions to recognize the contributions of the Latino community during Hispanic Heritage Month. The Biden-Harris Administration will continue building on the efforts the Administration is taking to advance opportunities for Latinos across the country.
