Press Release - President Bush Announced His Intention to Nominate McCallum to be Associate Attorney General with the Department of Justice

President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate one individual to serve as a member of his administration:

The President intends to nominate Robert D. McCallum, Jr., of Georgia, to be Associate Attorney General with the Department of Justice. Mr. McCallum currently serves at the Department of Justice as Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Division. Prior to joining the administration in 2001, he was a Partner with the law firm Alston & Bird in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a graduate of Yale University, a Rhodes Scholar with a Master's degree from Oxford University, and he received his law degree from Yale University.
