Press Release: Bills Signed: H.R. 423, H.R. 3672

On Friday, July 28, 2023, the President signed into law:

H.R. 423, the "Pala Band of Mission Indians Land Transfer Act of 2023," which directs that certain land be taken into trust for the benefit of the Pala Band of Mission Indians upon transfer of title to the United States; and

Thank you to Representatives Issa and Vargas, and Senators Padilla and Feinstein, for their leadership.

H.R. 3672, which designates the clinic of the Department of Veterans Affairs in Indian River, Michigan, as the Pfc. Justin T. Paton Department of Veterans Affairs Clinic.
