POTUS departed the WH residence at 9:48 am

POTUS greeted about 100 supporters, some of whom were waving US flags

He then met reporters on the South Lawn and took questions on a potential Gaza deal and the indictment of Comey

He was wearing blue suit white shirt and no toeand white golf shoes, carrying a white baseball cap

POTUS took questions for about 5 minutes

He says he thinks there is a deal on Gaza

He was asked about the Comey indictment and talk of a "retribution campaign."

He said "this is about justice, not about revenge." He also said "I hope there will be others" as in others charged.

POTUS: it's not a list, but I think there'll be others. I mean, they're corrupt. These. These were corrupt radical left Democrats, because Comey, essentially was, he was worse than a Democrat. I would say the Democrats are better than Comey. But no, there'll be others. Look it was, that's my opinion. They weaponized the Justice Department like nobody in history, what they've done is terrible, and so I would I hope there, frankly, I hope there are others, because you can't let this happen to a country you saw him. Pretty easy case. He lied. You saw my kid today. He didn't do a lot of things that maybe he should have, but I don't think he could, because he lied. That was a very important crisis, and he wanted to be specific, but he didn't the only thing that happened to him, he didn't think he'd get caught. That was a very important answer, and it was very for him. It was a very good answer if he didn't get caught, but he got caught lying to Congress that now that Congress, they will

QUESTION: about whether he worries Democrats will go after POTUS's FBI director afterward.

POTUS: They did it with me for four years. They went after me. They went after me for four years. And that doesn't even drink the four great years that we had in the White House. So when I ran it from 2016 when we won, it began before I got to office. You know that, wait a minute, before I came to office, I started hearing rumors about Russia. I said, What the hell do I have to do with Russia? Nothing. And then it got worse, and worse than some of the fake news, not you, but some of the fake news picked it up, and they liked it. And we went through a long time with that. And despite that, we had a great first serve, as you know, and in the bunk shot, is this more about justice, or is it about revenge? It's about justice. Really, it's not revenge. It's also about the fact that you can't let this go on. They are sick, radical left people, and they can't get away with it. And Comey. Comey was one of the people. He wasn't the biggest, but he's a dirty cop. He's always been a dirty cop. Everybody do it, and it's, you know, as far as the case is concerned, he gave an answer. It was a strong answer. He then verified it a couple of times, because that was a very important answer. If he would have equivocated, if he would have been like a little bit less sure, that would have been very bad for him. So he gave an answer. The only problem is, for him, he didn't think it'd be caught, and he got caught (inadible) about justice. He lied. He lied a lot, but this was a very important thing. This was he could have said, well maybe, or I don't remember, he didn't say that. He gave a very specific answer, and then he verified it numerous times, and he got caught. The problem that Comey has is he got caught lying, and he was very strong. It's not like, well maybe, or I don't remember, he gave a very specific answer, because it was a very powerful question, a very important question, and when he gave the answer, the only problem Is he got caught.

QUESTION: about possible government shutdown

POTUS: So we're going to see if the radical left Democrats want to shut it down. I mean, it's up to them. We have a great economy going. You saw the numbers yesterday. They're fantastic. The economy is doing well. Prices are down. We have virtually no inflation. Everything's going good. We're respected by every nation in the world. And you know what happened? Democrats want to shut it down. They want to shut it down because they want to give billions, ultimately, trillions of dollars, to illegal migrants, people that came into our country illegally. Some of those people are criminals, but they came into our country illegally, and they want to give them the ascension over years, trillions of dollars, and our people aren't going to stand for it. They also want to have open borders. They want to have men and women in sports. They want to have transgender forever. These people are crazy, the Democrats. So if it has to shut down, it'll have to shut down, but they're the ones that are shutting down.

Good morning,
I'll be your out-of-town pooler today on President Trump's trip to Farmingdale, New York, for the Ryder Cup.

Marine One was wheels down at JBA at 10:15 am.

POTUS embarked the M1 at 10:18 and was dressed in a blue suit and white shirt with no tie. He was wearing white golf shoes at and holding a white baseball hard. He waved at the bottom of the stairs but did not stop to take questions.

Air Force One touched down at Farmingdale at 11:12 am. POTUS came down the stairs of AF1 at 10: 19 am with his granddaughter Kai.

The motorcade is rolling at 11:24 am. President Trump took questions for two minutes. He said he was coming to the Ryder Cup because he heard the team was not doing so well and he wanted to be like Knute Rockne who gave his "Win One for the Gipper" speech to the Notre Dame players at halftime of the 1928.

The motorcade arrived at the Bethpage Black Course at 11:40 am, there were a lot of people along the way waving at and recording the motorcade.

The air is very festive at the club. All banners are in red and white, the American team colors. Springsteen's "Born in the USA" is blaring,

POTUS has not made it to his seat yet.

On Ryder Cup arrival:

As POTUS and his granddaughter Kai, a golfer herself, walked to his bulletproof stand, loud cheers and a few boos erupted.

Chants of USA USA dominated any other sounds. He waved at the crowds.

As the national anthem played, POTUS stood saluting.

Four fighter jets flew past.

As Keegan Bradley, the IS team captain, came out to the green, he stopped before Trump's stand and did a little Trump dance, moving both hands.

The crowd went crazy, clapping and cheering.

The pool hasn't laid eyes on POTUS in the last hour. The pool has been brought to hold in the pro shop/ cafeteria.
