Out-of-town pool report 1 - rolling

Morning. I'm your out of town pooler for the remainder of POTUS's trip to Delaware.

POTUS and motorcade left the residence at 8:01 a.m. White House has not advised Biden's schedule in Delaware.

Schedule has POTUS arriving in DC just before noon.

Out-of-town pool report 2 - church

POTUS arrived at St. Joseph on the Brandywine church at 8:04 am.

From the White House:

The President and the First Lady are attending a memorial mass for Beau Biden at St. Joseph

Pool could see POTUS and FLOTUS enter the church. FLOTUS appeared to be holding the same flowers she brought from Washington.

Out-of-town pool report 3 — leaving church

POTUS and family walked out of the chapel at 8:41 am and went around to the back of the church, the site of Beau Biden's grave.

Pool was loaded into the van and not positioned to see POTUS's movements.

Motorcade departed St. Joseph's at 8:58 am and we are rolling.

Out-of-town pool report 4 — memorial service OTR

Motorcade arrived at Veterans Memorial park at 9:13 am. Park is set up for what appears to be a memorial service.

Three dozen cars were parked in the grass. Men and women in uniform, saluted. POTUS got out at 9:17 and laid a bouquet with a red, white and blue ribbon at the center of a memorial for men and women from Delaware and New Jersey who died in World War II and the Korean War. He had a brief exchange with three people outside his SUV, shook their hands and got into the vehicle at 9:22 am. We are rolling.

Out-of-town pool report 5 - departure, park details, no questions

Motorcade departed Veterans Memorial Park at 9:26 am. and arrived at DANG at 9:36 am.

POTUS did not take questions under the wing.

From the White House: The President arrived at Veterans Memorial Park, New Castle, DE, where he laid flowers to pay his respects as he does annually.

Air Force One was wheels up at 9:48 am and wheels down at 10:13 am.

Uneventful flight. No visitors to the back of the cabin.

POTUS did not take questions before he and FLOTUS boarded Marine One at 10:25 am.

President Biden stepped off Marine One at 10:43AM onto the South Lawn.

With the First Lady at his side, he walked into the residence and shook his head when the pool shouted questions.
