In-town pool report #1: FPPO Marine One gather shifted to 11:45a

Hi all.

Sending over some FPPO updated scheduling for the day. The gather for the Marine One arrival is now at 11:45am this morning.

The "Invest America Roundtable" event is still slated for 2:00pm.

In-town pool report #2: Wheels up from Camp David

As of 11:45a, Marine One is wheels up from Camp David.

In-town pool note #3: Marine One wheels down at White House

At 12:18, Marine One touched down on the White House South Lawn.

In-town pool note #5: Trump says people causing problems in LA are insurrectionists

Attaching a couple quotes (please check against Otter) from the South Lawn. Trump said if he were Tom Homan, he would arrest California Governor Gavin Newsom and said that the people causing the problem in Los Angeles are professional agitators and insurrectionists that should be in jail. 

Before walking past reporters and taking a couple of questions, Trump stopped at an excavator on the South Lawn and spoke with a handful of construction workers. When talking with reporters after, Trump pointed over at the site and said "flagpole."

TRUMP: "I'd do it if I were Tom. I think it's great. Gavin likes the publicity…. He's done a terrible job. I like Gavin Newsom, he's a nice guy but he's grossly incompetent, everybody knows."

Q "What does your intel tell you about all the people causing all problems in LA. Are they people ICE is trying to deport or are they professional agitators?"

TRUMP: "The people that are causing the problem are professional agitators, they're insurrectionists. They're bad people, they should be in jail."

Trump did not respond to a question if he would invoke the Insurrection Act

QQQ And there was this New York Times report that he did not want to talk about, Elon Musk, that alleged that he, towards the end of his time in the White House, was blurring the lines between recreational use of drugs and medicinal. Do you think he ever had drugs here at the White House?

TRUMP: I really don't know. I don't think so. I hope not. Look I wish him well.  You understand, we had a good relationship, and I just wish him well, very well, actually.

QQQ On Elon Musk, do you plan to speak to him on the phone anytime soon?

TRUMP I haven't really thought about it, actually. I would imagine he wants to speak to me. I would think. If I were him I'd want to speak to me, but, and maybe he was already called. You'd have to ask him, ask him whether or not he's already called. But I'd have no problem with it.

QQQ If he calls you, you'd pick up and speak with him.

TRUMP Well, I don't want to say that, but, you know, but I would imagine he'd want to talk to me.
