In-town pool report #1: Upcoming Call with Transatlantic Leaders

Good morning. I am your in-town pool reporter.

The White House passes along the following:

At 11 AM, President Biden will hold a call with Transatlantic leaders today to discuss our shared concerns about Russia’s continued buildup of military forces around Ukraine and continued coordination on both diplomacy and deterrence. Joining the President on the call will be Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, European Council President Charles Michel, President Emmanuel Macron of France, Chancellor Olaf Scholz of Germany, Prime Minister Mario Draghi of Italy, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, President Andrzej Duda of Poland, President Klaus Iohannis of Romania and Prime Minister Boris Johnson of the United Kingdom.

In-Town Pool Report #2: Jake Sullivan to Join 2pm Press Briefing

The White House confirms that National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan will be joining Press Secretary Jen Psaki at the Daily Press Briefing today at 2pm.

In-town pool report #4: Transatlantic Call Begins/Ends

President Biden's transatlantic call began at 11:02AM and ended at 12:21PM. An official read out, the White House says, will be coming soon.

In-Town Pool Report #6: White House Departure

President Biden walked out of the Oval Office, down the West colonnade, and then into the White House. Moments later, he emerged from the residence, pausing to visit briefly with assembled staffers, shaking hands and taking selfies.

It is a beautiful evening. Biden then boarded Marine One which departed at 3:08. He took no questions.
