In-town pool report 1 for Sat. Aug. 9

Good morning from the White House.

I will serve as your pooler today. 

At 8:23 a.m., the pool has been loaded into vans for a presidential movement. 

Here is how the Rose Garden looked this morning. It appears more tables and chairs have been added.

In town pool report 2

POTUS arrived at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Va., at 9:38 a.m.

Pool did not get an opportunity to ask him questions.

In town pool report 3

At 3:48 p.m, pool is on the move back from Trump National Golf Club to the White House.

POTUS has not been close enough to the pool to get any questions in.

In town pool report 4

At 4:20 p.m., POTUS has returned to the White House to go to the Oval Office.

In town pool report 5

Pool has been informed that POTUS is headed to the roof of the White House. We are positioned now outside.

In town pool report 6 - lid

It appears POTUS may have cancelled his plan to go out on the WH roof again.

Security positioned on the roof has gone inside.

A lid has been called at 4:55 p.m.

Secret Service is still holding the pool in place, however, in case POTUS does, indeed, go onto the roof.

Secret Service has released the pool.

Given that a lid has been called, pool wishes everyone a happy Saturday evening.
