WH in-town note #1 - motorcade rolling

Good morning from a beautiful, sunny day in Washington DC.

The motorcade is rolling at 9:27 am to an unannounced location.

Pool caught a brief glimpse of POTUS entering his SUV. He was wearing black pants and a black jacket with a white hat

WH in-town note #2 - Golf

Motorcade arrived at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Va., at 10:02 am.

Pool had a brief glimpse of POTUS as he exited his vehicle and went inside the clubhouse.

Drive from White House was uneventful. There was one person in a car who gave the motorcade the middle finger as it drove by. A few onlookers outside the club filmed on their phones as the motorcade passed them.

WH in-town pool note #3 - POTUS golf partner

WH in-town note #4 - Motorcade rolling

The motorcade is rolling out of Trump National Golf Club at 4:10 pm.

Pool caught a glimpse of POTUS entering his SUV and then saw him on his phone as his SUV went by.

Pool also spotted chief of staff Susie Wiles standing outside the club and getting into one of the SUVs before the president came outside.

Outside the club there were two protesters on one side of the street and about a dozen supporters cheering and waving Trump signs and American flags on the other side.

WH in-town note #5 - White House return

Motorcade arrived back at the White House at 4:44 pm.

Drive back was uneventful. A few supporters along the route gave the thumbs up sign and one gentleman pumped his raised fist as the motorcade passed by.

Pool got a glimpse of POTUS exiting his SUV and going into the residence.

WH in-town note #6 - lid

The White House called a travel photo lid at 4:48 pm.
