Out of town pool #3: msg on shooting

The president has been briefed on the shooting in Dadeville, Alabama, according to a note from his team a few minutes ago. He and the White House are monitoring the situation and have been in contact with law enforcement officers and local officials to offer support, per the president's team.

Out of town pool report #2

The president arrived at 8:09pm at Gordon's Pond. He boarded Marine One, headed straight to the South Lawn. The helicopter departed at 8:16pm.

Biden was accompanied by the First Lady on Marine One.

Greetings from the White House on a balmy but breezy evening.

POTUS and FLOTUS are scheduled to arrive at the White House at 8.55pm (south lawn, open press), according to the weekend guidance.

Marine One touched down on the south lawn at 9.13pm.

WH in-town pool report #4/ No remarks and lid

POTUS, wearing a dark jacket and open collar, disembarked Marine One at 9.16pm and stopped to help FLOTUS, wearing a red jacket, reach the bottom of the stairs. The couple then walked slowly across the south lawn to the White House.

POTUS waved to the pool but did not respond to shouted questions about the Alabama shooting or his trip to Ireland.

A travel/ photo lid was called at 9.23pm.
