Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation Appointment of Two Members of the Advisory Committee, and Designation of Chairman.

The President today announced the appointments of two persons to be members of the Advisory Committee to the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation. The appointments are for terms expiring February 19, 1983. They are:

ROBERT TILOVE, of Brooklyn, N.Y., a senior vice president with Martin & Segal. This is a reappointment.

DEENE G. SOLOMON, of San Francisco, Calif., an attorney with Heller, Ehrman, White & McAuliffe, a visiting associate professor at Hastings College of Law, and author of numerous publications on ERISA law and pension benefits.

The President has also designated Phyllis Speilman, currently a member, to be Chairman of the Corporation.
