Overseas Private Investment Corporation Nomination of E.G. Koury To Be a Member of the Board of Directors.

The President today announced that he will nominate E.G. Koury, of Lorain, Ohio, to be a member of the Board of Directors of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation. He would replace Wallace Bennett, whose term has expired, and would be appointed to .an additional term expiring in 1983. Koury has practiced law in Lorain since 1955.

He was born August 1, 1928, in Lorain. He received a B.S. in commerce from Ohio University in 1950 and an LL.B. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1953. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955.

Koury has served as special counsel in Lorain County to the attorney general of Ohio. He is active in civic affairs.
