Obama Statement on the Culinary Workers Union Local 226 Settling Contract with the Las Vegas Hilton

Las Vegas, NV -- Barack Obama made the following statement today on the Culinary Workers Union Local 226 and Bartenders Union Local 165 settling their contract with the Las Vegas Hilton.

"I am pleased to see that the management at the Las Vegas Hilton has joined with their workers to ensure a fair contract and a living wage for all. With this contract comes the opportunity for these workers to achieve the Las Vegas Dream.

During these final contract negotiations, I will continue to stand with the Culinary Union until every last worker has the fair contract they deserve."
