Johnny H. Hayes, of Tennessee, to be a member of the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Valley Authority for a term expiring May 18, 2005 (reappointment), to which position he was appointed during the last recess of the Senate.

Doris B. Holleb, of Illinois, to be a member of the National Council on the Humanities for a term expiring January 26, 2002, vice Kenny Jackson Williams, term expired.
