It is with profound regret and sorrow that I have learned of the tragic death of His Excellency Hazza al-Majali, Prime Minister of Jordan. I know that you personally as well as the people of Jordan have suffered a grievous loss through the wanton criminal act which resulted in his and other deaths.
Please accept the sincerest condolences of the people of the United States.
