Haley Campaign Press Release - Haley: China is Laughing at Joe Biden

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Presidential candidate Nikki Haley denounced President Joe Biden's habitual weakness on China and called on Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen to demand answers from China on her upcoming trip to Beijing.

We are not holding our breath.

Last month, Joe Biden sent Secretary of State Antony Blinken to Beijing to make nice with Xi Jinping. Secretary Blinken refused to ask tough questions or demand accountability from China.

Now, Biden is sending Secretary Yellen to China after she praised the communists for "lifting hundreds of millions of people out of poverty" and called for deepening economic ties between the two countries.

"Joe Biden is falling over himself to make nice with China, and Xi Jinping is laughing at us," Haley said. "We should believe our enemies when they tell us who they are. China tells us exactly who it is every time it lies about Covid, spies on us, hacks our computers, steals our data, infiltrates our universities, threatens our allies, and kills its own people. Communist China is our enemy, and it will continue to take advantage of U.S. weakness until our leaders take their heads out of the sand."
