Haley Campaign Press Release - Comrade of the Week: President Biden

CHARLESTON, S.C. —Nikki Haley for President awarded President Joe Biden the Comrade of the Week award. Comrade of the Week is a new project from the Haley campaign to highlight weakness in the fight against China.

Joe Biden's presidency has been defined by a consistent weakness on China. Over the past few months, Biden sent three members of his administration to Beijing to make nice with China only to be rebuffed by China's leaders. When China flew a spy balloon over the United States, Biden naively said, "Xi Jinping got very upset" because "he didn't know it was there."

This week, there are reports that the Biden administration is considering lifting sanctions on a Chinese police institute engaged in human-rights abuses against Uyghurs in order to secure China's help in cracking down on fentanyl trafficking. This is a far cry from Nikki Haley's plan to crack down on fentanyl—threaten to revoke normal trade relations with China if its leaders don't stop sending fentanyl to our shores.

The Chinese Communist Party leaders see Joe Biden's stumbling, dithering excuse for leadership and assume they can do whatever they want, and no one will stop them.
