Executive Order 9245—Transferring to the Secretary of the Interior the Functions of the United States High Commissioner to the Philippine Islands
By virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and statutes of the United States, particularly the First Was Powers Act, 1941 (Public Law 354--77th Congress), it is hereby ordered that the functions, powers, and duties of the United States High Commissioner to the Philippine Islands, together with the personnel, records, property, and funds of the office of the High Commissioner, be, and they are hereby, transferred to the Secretary of the Interior.
