Executive Order 9025—Authorizing the Appointment of George Howe to the Position of Supervising Architect in the Public Buildings Administration, Federal Works Agency Without Regard to Civil Service Rules

January 16, 1942

By virtue of the authority vested in me by the provisions of paragraph Eighth, subdivision SECOND, section 2 of the Civil Service Act (22 Stat. 403, 404), it is hereby ordered that George Howe may be appointed to the classified position of Supervising Architect in the Public Buildings Administration, Federal Works Agency, without compliance with the requirements of the Civil Service Rules.
