Executive Order 8426—Waiver of Age Limit to Permit Florence S. Ellenberger To Compete in a Certain Civil Service Examination

By virtue of the authority vested in the President by paragraph Eighth, subdivision SECOND, section 2 of the Civil Service Act (22 Stat. 403, 404), it is ordered that the maximum age limit for entrance to examinations under the Civil Service Rules be, and it is hereby, waived to permit Mrs. Florence S. Eilenberger to compete in the pending open competitive civil service examination for the position of Postmaster at East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Eilenberger is the widow of Clinton B. Eilenberger, who served as Third Assistant Postmaster General from 1933 to 1937.

This order is recommended by the Postmaster General.
