Executive Order 8313—Authorizing the Appointment of Henry Schneider to a Position as Investigator, Alcohol Tax Unit, Bureau of Internal Revenue, Treasury Department, Without Compliance With the Civil Service Rules
By virtue of the authority vested in me by the provisions of paragraph Eighth of subdivision SECOND of section 2 of the Civil Service Act (22 Stat. 403, 404), it is hereby ordered that Henry Schneider may be appointed to a position as Investigator, Alcohol Tax Unit, Bureau of Internal Revenue, Treasury Department, without compliance with the requirements of the Civil Service Rules.
This order is recommended by the Secretary of the Treasury.
