Executive Order 8223—Modifying Executive Order No. 1919½ of April 21, 1914, and Reserving Certain Lands for Use of the Alaska Road Commission for Aviation Field Purposes

ALASKA

By virtue of and pursuant to the authority vested in me by the act of March 12, 1914, 38 Stat. 305, 306, and the act of June 25, 1910, c. 421, 36 Stat. 847, it is ordered as follows:

SECTION 1. Executive Order No. 1919½ of April 21, 1914, withdrawing and reserving certain lands in Alaska for townsite purposes, is hereby modified to the extent necessary to permit the following-described town-site lands to be used by the Alaska Road Commission for aviation field purposes, and such lands are hereby reserved and set apart for such use:

NENANA TOWN-SITE

S½ Block 38 and all Block 45

SECTION 2. This order shall remain in force until revoked by the President or by act of Congress.
