Executive Order 7936—Exemption of Thomas A. Jaggar, Jr. From Compulsory Retirement for Age
Whereas, in my judgment, the public interest requires that Thomas A. Jaggar, Jr., Principal Scientist, National Park Service, Department of the Interior, who during the month of July, 1938, will become subject to retirement under the statutes, be exempted from retirement for a period of one year:
Now, Therefore, by virtue of and pursuant to the authority vested in me by section 204 of the act of June 30, 1932, 47 Stat. 382, 404 (U.S.C., title 5, sec. 715a), I hereby exempt the said Thomas A. Jaggar, Jr. from compulsory retirement for age for a period of one year ending July 31, 1939.
