Executive Order 7920—Authorizing the Appointment of Mrs. Irene M. Mori to a Position in the Classified Service of the Government Without Regard to the Civil Service Rules
By virtue of and pursuant to the authority vested in me by the provisions of paragraph Eighth, subdivision SECOND, section 2 of the Civil Service Act (22 Stat. 403, 404), it is hereby ordered that Mrs. Irene M. Mori may be appointed to an appropriate position in the classified service of the Government without compliance with the requirements of the civil service rules.
Mrs. Mori is the widow of Alfred H. Mori, who had long and meritorious service in the War Department and who died on December 18, 1937, leaving his widow and two children without adequate means of support.
