Executive Order 7827—Authorizing the Appointment of Thomas D. Quinn to the Position of Administrative Assistant to the Attorney General Without Regard to the Civil Service Rules
By virtue of the authority vested in me by the provisions of paragraph Eighth, subdivision SECOND, section 2 of the Civil Service Act (22 Stat. 403, 404), it is hereby ordered that Thomas D. Quinn may be appointed to the competitive classified position of Administrative Assistant io the Attorney General, in the Department of Justice, without compliance with the requirements of the Civil Service Rules, such position being hereby withdrawn from the purview of paragraph 4, Subdivision VI, Schedule A of the Civil Service Rules.
This order is recommended by the Attorney General.
