Executive Order 7063—Authority for the Extension of the Temporary Appointments of Certain Employees of the General Accounting Office
By virtue of and pursuant to the authority vested in me by the provisions of paragraph Eighth of subdivision SECOND of section 2 of the Civil Service Act of January 16, 1883 (22 Stat. 403, 404), it is hereby ordered that the temporary employees of the General Accounting Office, whose appointments were made under the Emergency Appropriation Act approved June 19, 1934 (48 Stat. 1026), and those paid from emergency funds allotted to that office under the National Industrial Recovery Act of June 16, 1933 (48 Stat. 195), whose appointments terminate by operation of law on June 30, 1935, may be continued in the service for a period not to extend beyond June 30, 1937.
