Executive Order 6298—Authorizing the Appointment of Hugh S. Johnson to Serve Temporarily as a Member of Each Code Authority

September 29, 1933

In accordance with the provisions of the Code of Fair Competition for the Bituminous Coal Industry heretofore approved, I hereby appoint the Administrator, Hugh S. Johnson, to serve temporarily as a member (without vote) of each code authority created as provided in article VI, section 2 of said code, with the power in said Administrator to designate an agent with full authority to act in his behalf as a member (without vote) of any divisional or subdivisional code authority thus created, reserving to myself the power to appoint directly, in substitution for the temporary appointment of the Administrator, a member of any such divisional or subdivisional code authority.
