Executive Order 5836—Temporarily Withdrawing Certain Lands Pending Definite Location of Right of Way for Transmission Line, California and Nevada
Under authority of the act of Congress approved June 25, 1910 (36 Stat. 847), as amended by the act of August 24, 1912 (37 Stat. 497), and on the recommendation of the Secretary of the Interior, it is hereby ordered that the public lands within the area hereinafter described be, and the same are hereby, temporarily withdrawn from settlement, location, sale, or entry, subject to all valid existing rights, pending definite location of right of way for a transmission line to convey power from the Boulder Canyon Project to the city of Los Angeles:
