Mrs. Ida K. Marsh may be employed for one year in an appropriate position in the Bureau of the Census, without regard to the civil service rules.
Mrs. Marsh is the widow of Raymond C. Marsh, who served in the United States Army from May 18, 1918, to July 25, 1919, and died on April 20, 1928. He left his family without means of support, and Mrs. Marsh has had to place her two children in an orphanage. She has served in temporary Government positions for an aggregate of about three years but has no eligibility for reinstatement.
This order is issued on the recommendation of the Secretary of Commerce, and with the restriction that it does not confer upon Mrs. Marsh any status for subsequent employment in the classified service.
