Executive Order 5222—Reserving Certain Described Lands Pending Authorization for Sale to the City of Napa for Protection of Their Watershed, California
Under authority of the act of Congress approved June 25, 1910 (36 Stat. 847), as amended by the act of August 24, 1912 (37 Stat. 497), it is hereby ordered that the public lands in the following described areas in the State of California be, and they are hereby temporarily withdrawn from settlement, location, sale or entry, subject to the conditions of said acts, and subject to valid existing rights, for classification and in aid of proposed legislation to authorize the City of Napa, California, to purchase said lands, for the protection of the water shed of the municipal water system of said city:
W½ SW¼ Sec. 5, SE¼ SE¼ Sec. 6, NE¼ NE¼ Sec. 7, E½ NW¼,
W½ NE¼ Sec. 8, T. 6 N., R. 3 W., M. D. M., California.
This order shall continue in full force and effect unless and until revoked by the President or by act of Congress.
