Executive Order 5135—Authorizing the Appointment of Walter K. Liscombe Without Regard to Civil Service Rules
Mr. Walter K. Liscombe may be appointed as Associate Construction Engineer in the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury, without regard to the length of time he has been separated from the service.
This order is recommended by the Secretary of the Treasury who states that Mr. Liscombe rendered very satisfactory service in the Office of the Supervising Architect from 1902 to 1919, and that in view of the large building program now under way, his reinstatement will be in the interest of the service.
