Executive Order 5093—Authorizing the Appointment of Ida Strong Without Regard to Civil Service Rules

Mrs. Ida Strong may be appointed to an appropriate position in the Department of Agriculture without regard to the civil service rules. Mrs. Strong is the widow of Jacob Strong, who for more than thirty years prior to his death on November 10, 1928, was employed in the Department of Agriculture.
This order is recommended by the Acting Secretary of Agriculture.
