Executive Order 5072—Authorizing the Appointment of Virginia Ladd Without Regard to Civil Service Rules

Miss Virginia Ladd may be appointed to an appropriate clerical position in the classified service without regard to the provisions of the civil service rules.
The Secretaiy of War recommends the issuance of an executive order to permit the appointment of Miss Ladd. The Civil Service Commission does not concur.
