Executive Order 2047—Setting Aside Public Land for an Elk Refuge

September 15, 1914

Under authority of the Act of Congress approved June 25, 1910 (36 Stat., 847), as amended by the Act of August 24, 1912 (Stat., 497), and on the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture, it is hereby ordered that the public lands in Sec. 22, T. 41 N., R. 116 W., 6th P. M., Wyoming, be temporarily withdrawn subject to the conditions, provisions and limitations of said acts, in order that the Department of Agriculture may select certain lands therein for use as an elk refuge as provided in the Act of March 4, 1913 (Stat., 847).

The Executive Order No. 1814, dated August 25, 1913, withdrawing the therein described lands is hereby revoked in so far as it affects Sec. 1, T. 41 N., R. 116 W., 6th P. M.
