Executive Order 12210—Administration of Arms Export Controls

April 16, 1980

By the authority vested in me as President of the United States of America by the Arms Export Control Act, as amended (22 U.S.C. 2751, et seq.), and Section 301 of Title 3 of the United States Code, it is hereby ordered that Executive Order No. 11958, as amended, is further amended, in order to make additional delegations of authority, as follows:

1-101. Section 1 (c) is amended to read as follows:

"(c) Those under Section 21 of the Act, with the exception of the last sentence of subsection (d) and all of subsection (i), to the Secretary of Defense.".

1-102. Section 1 (f) is amended to read as follows:

"(f) Those under Sections 24, 27 and 28 of the Act to the Secretary of Defense. The Secretary of Defense, in implementing the functions delegated to him under Section 27, shall consult with the Secretary of State.".

1-103. Section 1 is amended by adding the following new subsection:

"(o) Those under Section 43(c) of the Act to the Secretary of Defense.".
