Executive Order 10536—Authorizing Certain Functions of Heads of Departments and Agencies Under Section 16 of the Federal Airport Act To Be Performed Without the Approval of the President

By virtue of the authority vested in me by section 301 of title 3 of the United States Code, it is hereby ordered as follows:

The authority vested in the heads of departments and agencies by subsection (b) of section 16 of the Federal Airport Act, approved May 13, 1946 (60 Stat. 179), with the approval of the President and the Attorney General of the United States, to perform any acts and to execute any instruments necessary to make conveyances requested by the Administrator of Civil Aeronautics under subsection (a) of the said section 16 may be exercised by such heads of departments and agencies without the approval of the President.
