Executive Order 10273—Exemption of Herbert E. Gaston from Compulsory Retirement for Age

July 18, 1951

WHEREAS, in my judgment, the public interest requires that Herbert E. Gaston, member of the Board of Directors of the Export-Import Bank of Washington, be exempted from compulsory retirement for age as provided below:

NOW, THEREFORE, by virtue of the authority vested in me by section 204 of the act of June 30, 1932, 47 Stat. 404 (5 U.S.C. 715a), I hereby exempt the said Herbert E. Gaston from compulsory retirement for age for an indefinite period of time not extending beyond June 30, 1955, the date on which his present term of office expires.
